NEWC is advancing British Columbia’s first Small Modular Reactor in the Okanagan Valley — a first-of-its-kind clean energy project designed to deliver firm, carbon-free electrical power, industrial heat, and hydrogen production.

This demonstration SMR will serve regional needs while creating long-term economic and community benefits and establishing the foundation for broader deployment across BC and Western Canada.
